My Short Game Was Awful!! 

I was simply terrible from within 60 yards. Embarrassingly terrible. It took the games fun away when I'd pipe a drive deep down the fairway and only to get too close for my inabilities.  I had no idea what to expect when I grabbed the wedge.  Sound familiar?  Chunks that went no where, skulls that went everywhere and balls in bunkers...I got seriously tired of it.  I was a low handicaper with a high handicaper short game.  The WORST!  At one time I could chip from anywhere with any club - now as I was older, dad of three kids, working my ass off...my range time was 5 minutes before play! Probably also sounds familiar?!

In my office in Minnesota, I had installed a regulation cup for putting.  What else is there to do in winter but practice golf, right?  I was rolling the ball one day when I looked in the opposite corner of the office and there was a piece of carpet with a rubber pad on the back. We had just done a remodel. Not sure why this came to mind, but I placed the 3' x 3' carpet against the wall and grabbed my wedge.  I pitched into it the pad...it wasn't pretty to start. However I started to employ what my instructor was always telling me and I got the feel of it, the ball would pop off the wedge with ease, up into the pad and right back to me!  Quick repetition was a huge benefit vs chasing balls all over! How cool! I did this for a couple months. Once our course opened up in late April, I was out playing and BAM!  My short game was UNREAL!  WHY?! I realized bumping balls into the pad and having them come right back TRULY gave me incredible feel, like it was just natural all the sudden!!  Then the 💡 went on!!

I needed to make a NEW and VASTLY Improved short game net! How to make the ball return? How to slow the ball down once hit into this net? After MANY mocked up versions and many years in the making, WEDGE GAME® was finally born! Adding the trajectory practice panel first, because THAT is insanely good for practice. Then targets came to mind & a game to play with others became the 9 hole panel - another light went off - Tic-Tac-Toe could go on the opposite side of the 9 Hole panel! Lots of hours of tinkering, working with professional instructors I have gotten lessons from over the years and consulted with, inputs from very good players - it has finally come to life for EVERYONE to improve their short games!!  Wedge Game was born out of necessity!  It was born from a lifelong lover of the game with inputs from some very good PGA Instructors.  It's not a gimmicky put up once and toss it type of system. I hated those...it HAD to be way better.  It's a heavy duty, built to last and built to produce excellent feel practice and play system!  Wedge Game® has 3 strong panels that attach to the top and sides of the net - easily change them when you want to change it up!  Enjoy it in your living room, den, garage, simulator or outdoor space!  You only need 8 ft x 4 ft to practice.  Place it on your putting mat/green and add some daily reps into the net...you can thank me later!
