Like many golfers, my short game was awful. Inside 60 yards, I was a mess—chunking shots, skulling wedges, and sending balls into bunkers. I'd hit great drives, but when it came to the scoring zone, the game stopped being fun. Sound familiar?
As life got busier—three kids, long hours at work—practice time disappeared. My short game confidence vanished. Then one Minnesota winter, while rolling putts in my office, I spotted a leftover piece of carpet from a remodel. Out of curiosity, I leaned it against the wall and hit a wedge shot into it. The ball bounced back to my feet. I tried again. And again. Suddenly I was practicing nonstop without chasing balls around.
When spring came, my short game felt unreal. That’s when the light bulb went off: I needed to design something better—a real training system that gave golfers fast reps, real feedback, and made practice fun. After countless prototypes, input from PGA instructors, and years of testing, Wedge Game® was finally born.
